| Why India First Foundation? What is the necessity for yet another School? | | There is a chaos and uncertainty in the world today about everything. There is a rat race for being first in everything, competition in every act of children, frustration if nothing works out and unrealistic expectations of the parents about their children. While it is so, on the other side we see parents who are not able to devote time to their family, children and senior people at home due to exigencies of work and partly due to their living style. There is strained relationship between adults due to frustration, disappointments and the society is going through a really tough time. | | | | To add to the woes, science and technology has created immense opportunities for children to use OR misuse them in the absence of adult supervision. Schools and colleges have become centres where number matters and not quality. At the bottom of all these, is the fact that there is a young generation waiting to enter the world. | | | If the world is in such shambles, what impressions will that create in young minds? One of the solutions that is left behind is making a fervent effort to change the practices in the School education. And here at IFFS, we are with a fresh idea and expression Mark Twain says, “ India is the cradle of Human race, Birth place of human speech, mother of History and grand mother of legend and the great grand mother of tradition".
At IFFS , we believe in leading by example. If one starts feeling that he is an Indian first, then the concept of World as one family is just an outcome. Religion, caste, creed all will disappear from mind. We all know that War is fought in minds and not in battle field. These young minds have to be nurtured in the above value systems. If the above concepts are imbued in children by living the values, right when they are young,the society will see rich dividends in the form of its young generation. | |  | | |
